Knaack recently partnered with ELC, an experiential learning program staffed with Jr. Consultants, to develop an optimized Service Center and spare parts operation, supporting enhanced customer service.
The multi-faceted ELC team leveraged their expertise in operations, finance, logistics, and supply chain management to conduct a thorough review of best practices regarding parts inventory, warehouse layouts, fulfillment processes, and data tracking. The ELC delivered an innovative business strategy and financial models projecting new capabilities for the organization. My personal contributions led to $3M in savings over three years through operations, facilities layout, and parts strategies. The new state-of-the-art facility will enable rapid response and expedited parts shipments to clients for maintenance parts, or upgrade accessories, and warranty fulfillments.
Through this project, the ELC helped Knaack reimagine their service center to enable the responsive, seamless support our customers expect. Knaack is excited to implement these new capabilities to better serve its customers' needs.
