Dutch Creek Dental

When local dentist Dr. Mihai Itoafa approached my wife and I about modernizing his dated online presence for Dutch Creek Dental, we saw an opportunity to leverage our complementary web design and business marketing backgrounds to deliver an innovative solution. We outlined a project to completely transform the customer-facing digital assets to drive sustainable growth for Dutch Creek Dental.

Initiation

First, we set the scope based on initial requests – freshen aesthetics, improve findability and accessibly, integrate scheduling with practice management software. We then expanded efforts to enhance user experience and patient engagement following industry best practices research. Structured brainstorming allowed us to develop creative concepts within the defined parameters.

Planning

A high-level plan was created complete with phased milestones and budget estimates for the 4-month engagement. Site architecture and wireframes provided blueprints for system design and functionality. I owned website build and analytics implementation while my wife managed branding, content creation and SEO optimization. We collaborated closely from concepting through delivery.

Execution

We migrated and improved existing content assets where applicable and generated new graphical elements and copy. Flexible frameworks enabled efficient site iterations while custom components boosted interactivity. Search visibility was woven throughout - metadata to sitemaps. We built in testing protocols in parallel to capture pre and post launch insights.

Monitoring

Weekly check-ins continuously evaluated progress against timeline and budget. Minor scope changes were controlled through change control processes. We managed decisions, issues and risks proactively based on early warning systems. Go/No Go guidelines ensured quality standards to deliver value to stakeholders.

Closing

Dr. Itoafa was extremely pleased with the engagement and delivered products. SEO traffic and online scheduling rates increased notably as key metrics per plan. This project is ongoing with administrative and hosting functions still in place.
